Aftercare For Eyebrow

FOR EYELINER/EYEBROW PROCEDURES AVOID MAKEUP IN THAT AREA FOR AT LEAST 7 DAYS OR FOR AS LONG AS POSSIBLE!

Colour retention and proper healing can depend on your home care regimen. Keep the area of pigmentation lightly moist for one day with the provided Bacitracin Zinc Ointment, this is an antibiotic for your tattooed area (Only for Permanent Procedures)

- On the second day start using Tattoo Aftercare balm and keep the area moist with this for 7-10 days. Use a clean Q-tip and lightly massage a light coat over the area several times a day. (Eyebrows will require continued moisturizing for 3 weeks.) – (Lips will require a further 3-4 weeks after with Aftercare with Lidocaine and then continue with the MicroLip Healer with SPF.) This step is very important - keeping the pigmented skin moist with an oil base ointment will control the amount of drying and crusting. This will help with colour retention.

To Avoid Swelling : Use an icepack or any kind of cold pack. Place the icepack/cold pack in a plastic baggie to avoid moisture on the pigmented area. Apply as needed a few minutes on then off. Elevate your pillow in bed for the first evening or two.

Avoid : Any type of skin peels or products containing Retin A, Glycolic Acid and make up over the pigmented area. Avoid hot steamy showers or long baths, keep your face away from the showerhead and apply thick coating of tattoo aftercare balm while bathing or showering. Avoid soap, creams or lotions on the pigmented area, wash and apply around the area. No swimming, saunas or Jacuzzi for the period of 10-14 days after the procedure.

Do Not : Pick, peel, or scratch as this could cause scarring or removal of colour. Do not touch the area except for applying Tattoo Aftercare balm

Note : Colour will appear very intense and dark immediately after your procedure. The reason is that the colour is sitting on top of the skin. Once the skin starts healing or flaking the colour will fade considerably, as it heals beneath the skin. The final colour should not be considered for approximately 6-8 weeks after the final visit. Do not be alarmed if it appears that the colour is flaking off, some of this crusting will appear on your Q-tip, this is completely normal. This is the superficial colour and is part of the natural healing process. Your tattooed area and the area surrounding the tattoo area may feel itchy as it heals, this is also completely normal, as your skin heals the area reacts to outside elements and the skin contracts to pull the wound shut. Scratching a wound that is trying to heal can cause damage to the new tissue and you could lose some colour retention. Using an ice pack/cold pack for a short period of time can relieve the itching. The sun can cause fading to the pigmented area. Always wear a light coat of sunblock on pigmented eyebrows and or lips.

To Avoid Swelling: Use an icepack or any kind of cold pack. Place the icepack/cold pack in a plastic baggie to avoid moisture on the pigmented area. Apply as needed a few minutes on then off. Elevate your pillow in bed for the first evening or two.

AFTERCARE FOR KERATIN LASHLIFT

  • Don’t get lashes wet for 24 hours as this can weaken the curl.
  • Don’t sleep with the lashes pressed into the pillow as the shape can be affected (especially the first 24 hours).
  • Keep lashes conditioned.

Lash Lifts are a chemical process and we do need to make sure the natural lashes are being cared for afterwards with products to maintain moisture and strength. A growth serum can be recommended to keep lashes healthy and to grow them longer if desired, which will only make Lash Lift results that much better.

Lash Lifts only need to be performed every 6-8 weeks to stay looking great! Even at 8 weeks, there are usually still natural lashes mixed in that are still curled. These lashes can be re-lifted along with the straight new growth.

We hope you enjoy your new and improved lashes!
